OH, how things have changed over the months. No, I'm not referring to my milestone (30th) birthday. (But, I do L-O-V-E birthdays.) A month ago today, I embarked a complete and utter new path in life - a career change. Previously, I lived the life of a Technical Writer with a major IT company. I have been in grad school (again) earning my masters degree in education. For the past month, I have been an official teacher! To be more specific, junior high English teacher. Can we say, "ba-da-ba-da-da... I'm lovin' it!" Some people say how "brave" I am to teach at the Junior High level, but I say "nonsense!" I absolutely love each and every one of my students. They are such a joy to be around. Oh, and my coworkers? Love them, too. The school, families, kids, colleagues, and environment are all just amazing. I'm truly living the (my) dream.
As for the blog... expect some makeovers and new recipes. I've been cooking a LOT over the months. I also want to delve deep in to The Eat Clean Diet by Tosca Reno. I love this series, but I have yet to follow it to a T. I think it would be fun!
