Bloat busters...

If you are following my sugar addiction series, then you may be on your way to detoxing the sugar out of your life AND body! One of the problems caused by sugar is inflammation and bloating (because I haven't given you ENOUGH reasons already...)! Thanks to Self Magazine, and the daily emails I get, I have a list of some bloat busting foods to help you eat your way to a flatter tummy.

1. Avocado
    Slice it, dice it, mash it, eat this good stuff!
    Try it: Omelettes; with crackers, turkey sandwiches; pasta sauce; and more!

2. Green Tea
     Sip this good stuff! It revs up your metabolism and is a natural way to get your caffeine kick!

3. Yogurt
     Remember to watch your sugars, here!
     Try it: Plain greek topped with fruits and granola; in a smoothie; plain jane

4. Blueberries
     Try it: Top #3 with them; oatmeal topper; mixed in a smoothie; heated and sprinkled with cinnamon for a yummy, health dessert

5. Bulgur
     Great to amp of your fiber and keeping your calorie count low.

6. Chocolate Milk
    Long toted by runners as a great post-run recovery drink, chocolate milk aids in muscle recovery. Do you need any more of an "excuse" to incorporate chocolate in to your daily diet? :) You're welcome!
